This new role has been created specifically to drive innovation in new research topics and deliverables, to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing, and to increase customer satisfaction. Specifically, Carter will identify new topics and themes and drive thought leadership, working with the broader team to continuously inject innovation into IDC's regional deliverables, events, and CXO Summits.

Richard Doherty is senior director product marketing at Workday with EMEA-wide responsibilities for Workday's HCM and financial management applications. Prior to joining Workday, Richard was part of a team that pioneered cloud based recruiting and talent management solutions in Europe. Joining Jobpartners as one of the first employees in 2000, Richard held a number of positions across professional services, sales and marketing, helping Jobpartners grow into one of the market leaders in Europe. In 2011 Jobpartners was acquired by Taleo, the cloud recruiting and talent management leader at the time. Richard subsequently spent time at Taleo and Oracle as HCM Strategy Director before joining Workday. Richard holds a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.
